About Us

Our Beginnings

Kenneth Farmer Advertising Art, Inc. was founded in 1980, in Atlanta, Georgia, as a design studio. For the next twelve years the company specialized in the design and production of signage and point of purchase materials for major oil companies.

In 1978, Gulf Oil asked our firm to assist in the development of the first self-serve station for the chain. As a result of our early successes with oil companies, the firm was able to develop new associations with large national clients including the Coca Cola Company, The Pepsi Cola Company, B. F. Goodrich, Sears Auto Car Centers, Champion Spark Plug Division and R J Reynolds Tobacco Company.

Real Estate Signs

In 1985 the company was asked by an Atlanta advertising agency to design and develop a real estate sign for a local company. The final design consisted of a sign made of low cost, lightweight styrene plastic, completely assembled, requiring no nuts or bolts for attachments. The agency and client were both very pleased with the prototype and it was approved for immediate use.

In 1986, due to the growing demand for our yard sign, we received a patent on the design and made the decision to devote our entire operation to the manufacturing of real estate yard signs nationwide.

Today, Kenneth Farmer Advertising Art, Inc., is considered to be one of the leading national suppliers of real estate signage, servicing more than 750 independent real estate companies and national franchises such as Coldwell Banker, Prudential and Re/Max.
